DJ Amacoz presents “Best Of 2016-2019 Mix“, a production-heavy other showcase from the percussion-heavy 2016 sound to the more melodic, global-facing productions of 2019.
The “Best Of 2016-2019 Mix” captures a defining era in Afrobeats when the sound was cementing its global dominance.
Spanning four pivotal years, the compilation weaves together chart-toppers from Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and breakout stars like Rema and Fireboy DML.
DJ Amacoz demonstrates technical precision in his transitions, maintaining energy through tempo shifts while highlighting the evolution.
Beyond track selection, the mix serves as a sonic time capsule documenting the genre’s maturation. It reflects how Nigerian producers like Killertunes, Spellz, and Pheelz shaped the sonic palette that would eventually conquer international charts.
