Manchester United are scaring their fans, Milan will see a clash between two teams that are still undefeated in the league, and Juventus are preparing a cake to mark the club’s 129th anniversary. This weekend, on October 31 and November 1, football doesn’t need any costumes.

MELBET looks at the five biggest games of the weekend.

Chelsea vs Manchester United, Premier League, October 31

Man United are on an eight-match winless run, and they lost their last league game 3-0 to Bournemouth, while Bruno Fernandes spent the entire match on the bench. Did they sideline their key creative player in the hope of coming up with some fresh ideas? There’s something wrong with that plan, even though Bruno’s performances hadn’t been particularly impressive either.

Frank Ilett hasn’t had a haircut since October 2024. The fan is waiting for the Red Devils to win five fixtures in a row, and during that time, his hair has grown enormously. With results like these, he’ll soon need two seats in the stands: one for him and one for his hair. Michael Carrick risks losing his job before Frank even gets to the barber’s.

But Chelsea are far from perfect too: 17 goals scored and 15 conceded in eight matches. The Blues lost 2-0 to Tottenham. Guys, it’s Tottenham we’re talking about – even Man United managed a draw against them.

Our prediction: Chelsea win at odds of 1.835.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga, October 31

Both teams have 17 points after seven games with no defeats. The Bavarians have scored 25 goals, whereas Borussia have managed only 12. Niko Kovač’s side mainly earn points through their reliable defense, but it will be very difficult to contain Bayern’s attack.

Michael Olise has netted six goals, while Harry Kane has recorded four goals and the same number of assists. If Borussia’s defenders focus on the Ballon d’Or winner, this will give Olise more space, and the French winger will capitalize on it.

The Black and Yellow have only conceded four goals in seven matches, and now their main task is not to concede just as many in a single evening in Munich.

Our prediction: Bayern win at 1.35.

Milan vs Inter, Serie A, October 31

Milan and Inter are among the league leaders, but they have different ways of securing victories.

On Matchday 8, Milan comfortably beat Udinese 2-0, while Inter turned the match against Fiorentina around with goals in the 91st and 97th minutes (2-1). Nerazzurri fans might as well be given a heart rate monitor along with their ticket.

Marcus Thuram scored and won the decisive penalty – you can’t afford to lose concentration for even a second against a forward like that. But Cristian Chivu’s side are conceding more than one goal per game, which promises scoring opportunities for Christian Pulisic and his teammates.

We expect the Derby della Madonnina to end in a draw with the two teams trading goals: Both teams to score at 1.52.

Juventus vs Napoli, Serie A, November 1

Juventus will be celebrating its 129th anniversary on the matchday, but Napoli are ready to spoil the party.

The Bianconeri’s 2-0 victory over Lecce was a convincing one, although Luciano Spalletti was unhappy with his team’s loss of momentum after the break.

Meanwhile, Napoli’s Scott McTominay has found his form – he scored twice against Roma. A visitor like that might well end up eating the holiday cake all by himself!

Juventus look the favorites at home, but Napoli have no intention of handing the Old Lady three points as a birthday present.

We believe the home side will win, but we’re making a more cautious prediction: Juventus not to lose at 1.235.

Liverpool vs Arsenal, Premier League, November 1

Liverpool have won four consecutive matches in the Champions League and the Premier League. The Reds get the ball into the box quickly, and Alexander Isak knows exactly what to do next. The Swedish striker has already netted six league goals, so it seems that Andoni Iraola’s style of play suits him well.

Arsenal will surely rely on set pieces. Ezri Konsa and Gabriel scored against Everton to make it 2-0. Mikel Arteta is confident that their first Premier League goal from a corner will restore the players’ faith in this weapon.

Liverpool had better not give the Gunners corners and free kicks near their goal. Everton have learnt the hard way that Arsenal defenders know how to find the net.

Still, Iraola’s men are in good form, and Isak is scoring regularly. At the same time, the Londoners have Bukayo Saka out through injury, so we reckon the home side will be able to beat the champions.

Our prediction: Liverpool win at 3.09.
