Lawrence Ikechukwu, popularly known as Iyke Lawrence, is a dynamic Nigerian creative, born on August 8, 1985, in Mushin, Lagos State, though originally from Imo State, Nigeria. A proud Christian and visionary artist, Iyke’s journey into the world of music, media, and production design has been a story of passion, growth, and artistic excellence.

Early Life & Education

Growing up in a family of six, Iyke developed a love for creativity from a young age. His educational journey began at Airforce Primary School 1, Ikeja (1995), followed by Premier Day Nursery and Primary School (1999) and Nigeria Premier College (2003).
He later pursued a degree in Mass Communication at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (2007), a foundation that strengthened his storytelling and communication skills.

Not stopping there, Iyke further honed his craft by studying Music at the Mountain of Fire Choral School (2008) and later Production Design & Art Direction at Ebonylife Creative Academy (2023) — proving his dedication to mastering the art of creativity in multiple dimensions.

Music & Creative Journey

Iyke Lawrence’s musical journey is as vibrant as his personality. Over the years, he has served as Music Director for several churches, blending spirituality with sound to inspire audiences. His creativity extends beyond the church walls — he has worked with Creative Xone & Studio Works as a songwriter for major commercials, including jingles for:

A multi-talented instrumentalist and producer, Iyke has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry. His impressive music video and production credits include working with Tiwa Savage, Blackface Naija, Zlatan, Durella, Mike Abdul, Patricia Kings, Qdot, Azadus, and many more.
